We drenched our feet in the waters,
never scared of what it inflicts,
losing that which was never ours,
We were swept away in the Styx.
The current swirls of deeper end, very far from where one predicts, dragging us all around the bend, We were swept away in the Styx.
Dancing by the dark river shore, mere sacrifices to dear Nyx, countless lives lost to the Great War, We were swept away in the Styx.

A very interesting poem. I like it and wish there was more. Thanks for the post.
