There She Goes

There she goes, she goes back to same,
she goes from white love to black blame.
She’ll insist on selling them a
river to the sea of mayhem.

Give her your solemn bandaged heart
and wait as she rips it apart.
She guides you by her fingers numb;
river to the sea of mayhem.

There she goes, she goes back to light,
leaving you lost without a sight,
without hope, swept away in the
river to the sea of mayhem.

An Eternal Expedition

Dawn rose above the dark once more,
to search for the lost paragon.
The one of them legends and lore,
the one which was mine’s ever gone.

Brushed the abyss of the ancient,
sieved every bit stumbled upon,
to feel the pain of the sentient,
the one which was mine’s ever gone.

And as the valley of sleep dries,
waning rivers of hope are drawn,
to bring back the strong heart who lies,
the one which was mine’s ever gone.

Corporate Deaths

Brusque ruffling of those blank papers,
ambitions touching skyscrapers.
Eyes are glazed with a dead-beat stare.
Lived through square deaths but we don’t care.

Now and then you see them banging,
unnerving, the silence hanging.
Walls the colour of flat despair.
Lived through square deaths but we don’t care.

Monotonous routine wears down,
the torpid minds which run this town.
So bring on the fun and fanfare.
Lived through square deaths but we don’t care.

Water under the Bridge

Yesterday, you bid me goodbye.
All our dreams and fears vanished soon
before the last tear left my eye.
Just like water under the bridge.

Who would have known that we were built,
on fragile words and songs of June.
We were fleeting, petals which wilt.
Just like water under the bridge.

The pain will ebb away with time,
bringing me your scent one blue moon.
We disappear… A shade… I am.
Just like water under the bridge.
