Last Pomegranate of Persephone

To hell and back,
its seeds to chew,
a breath away,
from Death so close

Yet here I stay,
withering sigh,
with one last fruit,
wasting so fast

I see you now,
as you saw me,
a wary soul,
trapped in vain

I will wait here,
as I pay for,
the sour sins which,
others did own.
